Catherine Honeywell began as a white belt in 2009 with her Mum (Diane Honeywell) and her younger brother and sister.

She was introduced to the club through a friend and has progressed through the belts until earning her Second Dan in 2014. Catherine has also been successful in various National competitions in Single Kata, Team Kata and Single Kumite. After training as an active squad member, she moved into teaching and has never looked back! Diane Honeywell, Diba Jedo and Catherine Honeywell now run the Walkden class at St Pauls Crompton Street which is now well into its fourth year.

Her time as a student, and as an assistant instructor, has helped her to develop her self-confidence and to build up many transferable skills that she now hopes to take forward into the future.
